The sea turtle nesting season is about to begin at Lady’s Mile beach in Limassol! As every year, and in collaboration with the British Bases, Terra Cypria will carry out early morning patrols throughout the summer to locate turtle nests and identify potential threats.
We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible volunteers to join us in protecting this important nesting beach.
What’s involved?
Volunteers take part in morning patrols (before 7:00 AM), usually once a week, helping monitor the beach and report turtle tracks or any risks to nests.
