MeDTrends Program funded by European Regional Development Fund (2014-2015)
Terra Cypria has offered its services in Cyprus to WWF Greece, which is a partner in a larger Mediterranean project. The MedTrends project will identify at a transnational level, the most likely scenarios of marine economic growth, foreseen over the next 20 years in Med-EU countries.
The locations of these activities will be digitally mapped and their impact on marine life assessed. Our responsibility is to organize and chair two workshops in Cyprus for the Cyprus Steering Committee (which is composed of Government Departments) to come together and consider the findings.
The first event was held in November, 2014, and the next one will take place in April 2015.
