Another supporters’ excursion took place on Saturday, March 1st—this time in Akrotiri for orchid observation and a scenic trail walk.
With the spring weather on our side, we explored and learned fascinating facts about the beautiful orchids of Akrotiri from environmentalist Mr. Pantelis Charilaou. Although small, we were lucky enough to spot several orchids with his guidance.
We then walked along the Kourtelli trail, discovering the area’s rich biodiversity and ending at a stunning viewpoint overlooking Akrotiri Salt Lake.
