Two days filled with exploration, learning, and memorable moments in nature came to an end as we celebrated European Natura 2000 Day through the Pandora project.
Through guided hikes, bird ringing and release activities, interactive games, and educational workshops, participants of all ages had the opportunity to discover Cyprus’s unique biodiversity and learn about the importance of protecting Natura 2000 sites.
At the Cyprus Environmental Research Centre in Kritou Tera, visitors had the chance to explore the facilities, equipment, and activities that support environmental education and foster a deeper understanding of our island’s natural heritage.
Through experiences like these, knowledge becomes a lived experience, and nature conservation becomes a shared responsibility.
A big thank you to everyone who celebrated with us and helped make these two days so special.
