Terra Cypria is excited to announce a two-day excursion to Stavros Psokas, exclusively for our Foundation supporters. The event will feature hiking and stargazing, weather permitting. Please make sure to complete the participation form to secure your spot. Detailed programme:
Saturday, 11/11:
- 11:00 Meeting and accommodation arrangements
- 12:00 – 14:30 Hike on the “Horteri” trail (4.5 km, difficulty level 3/3)
- 15:00 Return and relaxation time
- 16:00 Cooking and dinner preparation
- 20:30 Stargazing
Sunday, 12/11:
11:00 AM: Hike to “Moutti tou Stavrou” (2.5 km, difficulty level 1/3)
Accommodation Information:
We have limited double rooms and one room for five people (1 double bed and 3 single beds) available at Stavros Psokas with a cost of €14 per person. Heating is available at an additional cost of €7 per room, covered by our Foundation. Please bring your own pillowcases and bed sheets as room amenities are basic.
Camping is also an option, with necessary equipment for cold weather: appropriate sleeping bags for and blankets.
Additionally, there are accommodation options in nearby villages such as Lysos (Paphos district, approximately 30 minutes’ drive) and Kampos tis Tsakistras (Nicosia district, approximately 40 minutes’ drive).
What We Cover for Our Supporters:
Our Foundation will cover the cost of the food we will prepare on-site on Saturday, as well as the heating cost in the hostel rooms, which amounts to €7 per room.
