On the 30th of September, we participated in the “European Researcher’s night”, which took place in Eleftheria Square. The “Mission: INSPIRE” event -as it is called-, is particularly significant, as it has been organized in by the “Foundation of Research and Innovation” since 2006, an event dedicated to science.
With our presence, we had the opportunity to talk about our actions emphasizing the “Life with vultures” program, mentioning the importance of protecting the Cypriot vulture. Hundreds of students attended during school time and learned about the vultures, while having the chance to observe freshwater invertebrates through our microscopes and learning useful information about them.
The event lasted until the evening, with various people being informed about the current projects of our team, while also receiving some gifts and souvenirs from us.
