In the framework of the “Implementation of a National Energy and Climate Plan 2021-2030” project and with the support of the European Climate Foundation (ECF), we created a video that shows the transport situation in Cyprus, which unfortunately fails to meet the basic requirements of European country’s public transport.
The traffic on the roads, the large number of private cars and the lack of specific infrastructure, which would facilitate the use of alternative modes of transport, do not respond to our efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate the consequences of the climate crisis.
