On Saturday, December 14th, we spent the day at the picturesque village of Lazania, blending nature, activity, and tradition.

The day began with a hike along a section of the E4 trail, from Lazania to Machairas. We enjoyed the area’s rich landscape and learned about the local plants and animals, thanks to Mary Michaelides and Dinos Konis.

We concluded at the Baths of Hercules and, on our way back, savored warm trahana soup at the Lazania tavern. Later, we made fresh trahana under the guidance of the community leader, Marios Koutoumpas.

A heartfelt thank you to the Lazania community and its leader for their warm hospitality!
