The climate youth movement is expanding and becoming more powerful.
After successfully mobilizing and training 500 students around the island on climate change issues and active citizenship, our team has started implementing the next round of actions for the period 2022-2023. With the help of Climate Action Europe (CAN Europe), students aged 9-18 from public and private schools, from different parts of the island, will continue to get trained on the issue of climate change, how it will affect their generation and what they can do to change things for the better. Once trained, the movement will be ready to proceed with their planned street actions, meetings with politicians and other outreach activities, aiming at pushing the climate crisis issue at the top of the decision makers’ agenda.
The Generation KlimACT movement is getting bigger and their voice stronger. Their only demand: “Act for climate Now”.
