In the beautiful village of Lazania, we gathered for the 1st Sustainable Pediaios Festival, where, with the assistance of a member of the Cyprus Dragonfly Study Scientific Team, both young and old had the chance to dive into the enchanting world of dragonflies.
Participants learned about the fascinating life cycle of dragonflies and used stereoscopes, magnifying glasses, and field guides to explore their unique micro-world up close. The experience sparked curiosity and appreciation for these remarkable creatures. Additionally, participants crafted their own dragonflies as souvenirs, capturing the memories and inspiration from this special event focused on nature and sustainability.
