A two-day event full of activities for all ages was held to celebrate the European Natura 2000 Day under the \u201cPandoteira\u201d project.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday, May 20th, the celebration of Nature 2000 day took place in Kambos (Tsakkistras) village. With the support of our partners, participants had the opportunity to enjoy various activities such as a tour of the Cyprus Forestry Museum, hiking, bird watching, traditional bread making, treasure hunting, and freshwater invertebrate exploration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following day, on Sunday, May 21st, the Department of Environment in collaboration with Frederick University organized a hike and bat-watching in Mammari!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the communities of Kambos and Mammari for their hospitality and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
