Accommodation<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Course participants normally stay in traditional village houses or apartments within the village of Kritou Terra. There is also a purpose-built guesthouse within the grounds of the CESC. Accommodation typically has 2-6 beds per room, with a bathroom and small kitchenette. Bedding is included, but not towels.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

Supervision of students<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Supervision in the accommodation areas needs to be provided by adults accompanying the group, who undertake responsibility for the students over the duration of their stay in the village. The size and composition (girls\/boys) of the group determines the number of accompanying adults.<\/p>\n

The apartments are in separate areas within the village, each sleeping 6-12 people so, for example, a group of 20 students would need three accompanying adults. Different combinations of accommodation can be arranged, so there is a degree of flexibility to cater for different numbers of boys and girls.<\/p>\n

Once we know numbers and sexes, we can provide a more detailed accommodation plan. Catering<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]All meals are provided by CESC\u2019s canteen. We collaborate with the tavern Mylari, which is located right below the Environmental Studies Center. Breakfast and evening meals are taken at the canteen, and a packed lunch (including a sandwich and fruit per person) is collected from the canteen after breakfast.<\/p>\n

Transport<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]We can arrange airport transfers from\/to Larnaka or Paphos airport. Transport during the course can also be organised depending on the programme to be followed. Getting there<\/h2>\n

The Cyprus Environmental Studies Centre is located in the picturesque village of Kritou Tera just on the borders of Akamas and Akamas National Forest Park.<\/p>\n

To reach the Centre, head for Paphos, then follow signs for Poli Chrysochous<\/strong>. About half way to Poli Chrysochou, look for signs to the village of Kathikas. Head towards Kathika you\u2019re nearly there. Once out of Kathikas<\/strong> head north towards Drouseia village, through the main Peyia-Polis road. When you reach the turning for Drouseia village, take the opposite turning which takes you straight to Kritou Tera<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
