Our Youth took part in their first peaceful street action for the Climate, in Paphos
On 6th November 2021, while leaders from around the world were attending the COP 26 in Glasgow to discuss and address the climate crisis, the new youth movement “Generation Klimact” sent its own powerful message to Cypriot politicians.
Young students from various schools in Cyprus, who are trained on the climate change problem by our Foundation, gathered at the town hall square of Paphos to demand more climate actions from the politicians of our country. The peaceful demonstration was also attended by politicians from various political parties, who stood in front of the Youth and responded to their questions and concerns.
Climate change will mostly affect the new generation; this action organized by our Foundation, sent the message to the political leadership of the country that young Cypriots have a voice and claim their right to a safe and a sustainable future.
